As one of the few companies in the world capable of building sensors, Seek Thermal has shipped hundreds of thousands of thermal imaging products around the world as it continues to make thermal imaging an accessible, everyday tool, so people can do their jobs safer, faster, and smarter.What You'll Do The Applications Engineer will be the link between customers, sales, and development for Seek products and provide technical support for customer projects and sales efforts -- Design and code modular systems and applications to help more customers integrate Seek technology for various use cases, systems, and additional technologies-- Ensure all new and existing customers are successful when integrating or using Seek products with the Seek Thermal SDKs or other Seek products -- Responding directly to customers technical requests, investigations, and testing, using our support ticket system and email-- Evaluate customer's requirement regarding systems application and prepare technical elements of proposals, formulating the intricacies involved in defining the technical solution guidelines on new customer opportunities-- Support customers meetings on a technical level (either remotely or at a customer site), communicating requirements and key updates back to internal stakeholders-- The Applications Engineer will work collaboratively with the sales team, engineers, and product managers for obtaining accurate information of application usage and system operations for each customer-- Troubleshooting system applications on customer's request, resolving other engineering issues regarding systems application, conducting regular follow up on customer's activities, and monitoring the same for obtaining new sales opportunities-- When needed, consider alternative solutions to meet customers ultimate needs and create a plan with product management and engineering to execute-- Preparing relevant records, data, and documents for product presentations, conducting training sessions for demonstrating new products and services, and supporting the sales team in organizing the presentation and training of product demonstration-- Will be responsible to conduct webinar customer training on productsWhat We're Looking For Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Product & Marketing, the Applications Engineer will act as the technical support for Seek Thermal developers and customers, focused mostly on the integration and use of Seek OEM cores. This position can be remote with occasional visits to the office in Santa Barbara, California, and customer sites.Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Must-Haves -- Technical Degree in Engineering or Computer Science required (Software or Systems Engineer desired)-- Minimum 3 years' experience -- Strong customer relations are required to ensure establishing and maintaining good customer relations with new and existing customers.-- Must have good interpersonal and written communication skills, and good organizational skills for effectively communicating the technical specifications to the customers and providing technical interface to Seek staff.-- Ability to troubleshoot Linux, Windows and Android SDKs for customers while integrating with Seek Cores-- Ability to perform intermediate-level programming (C, Java, Python).-- Knowledge of mobile, embedded and web environments, desired.-- Knowledge of infrared systems, analysis, measurements, and testing, desired.-- Must have the ability to learn new technology and its application to our customer needs-- Must have strong problem-solving skills -- Ability to multi-task in a rapid paced environment-- PI191415974
