The Davey Resource Group (DRG) is currently hiring plant and outdoor enthusiasts to join our workforce. Job Duties Manual labor with mowers and string trimmers Skilled and safe operation with mini skidsteers, zero turn mower, remote mowers,, & brush hog style mowers Perform basic daily maintenance on equipment (training provided) Perform basic repairs as applicable on equipment Utilize digital applications for work orders and documentation of work performed Communicate with project manager and biologist to develop daily work plans Qualifications DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Mowing experience is preferred Ability to work continuously for 8 hours a day Ability to work in all inclement types of weather and ground conditions Able to lift and carry 50 lbs Ability to use technology for work scheduling and documentation REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Clean DMV driving record and ability to drive and operate a 4x4 vehicle on rough roads Additional Information What We Offer:* Company Vehicle and Fuel Card or vehicle stipend Company Cell Phone Opportunities for full time employment All job specific equipment and safety gear provided Opportunities to work on a variety of projects in various locations The Davey Institute provides personal and professional development opportunities Employee Scholarship for AS degree in Environmental Management Scholarship Program for Children of Employees Charitable matching gift program Company paid professional certifications and continuing education *All listed benefits available to eligible employees.
