Epic Special Education Staffing proudly seeks a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our team. This role entails providing psychological services to students within our partner schools, focusing on those with special education needs. The responsibilities include assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with educators and parents to foster a supportive learning environment. Ideal candidates will be adept at handling diverse and complex student needs with the goal of enhancing student success and emotional well-being. Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to improve students' success. Develop and implement IEPs tailored to meet individual student needs in collaboration with educators and parents. Provide counseling and intervention services to students as needed. Act as a resource to teachers and staff regarding psychological matters and student mental health. Maintain confidential records and report progress to appropriate parties. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development trainings. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in psychological assessment tools. Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and parents. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of educational psychology theories and practice. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k State certification/licensure in school psychology. Certified by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) preferred.
