PARCS Hourly Range: $18.31-21.20 Classification: Temporary
Non-Exempt – Overtime Eligible Job Summary: This is a Temporary
position that works in the City facilities under general
supervision of a Lead Maintenance Worker. The Maintenance Assistant
performs routine maintenance tasks to ensure facilities, equipment,
and grounds are clean, safe, and in good working order. This
position works on Citywide special events. Supervisory
Responsibilities: None Example of Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform
minor repairs, including inspecting equipment and systems for
preventative maintenance reasons. Clean facilities/field/stadium.
Clear trees, minor weeding and tree-trimming. Move equipment by
using hand trucks, forklifts, and other tools. Maintain reports
pertaining to repairs and cleaning schedules. Performs irrigation
inspections and repairs. Performs other related duties as assigned.

immediate supervisor. This position is considered non-exempt.
