looking for their newest Engineer Groundskeeper! About this
Location: This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton
in San Luis Obispo, CA. Nestled in the heart of California’s
Central Coast, our all-suite hotel offers convenient access to
downtown SLO, local wineries, and scenic hiking trails. Surrounded
by rolling hills and just minutes from the beach, our property
provides the perfect home base for guests to relax, explore, and
experience the charm of the Central Coast. Why do we need you? To
repair and maintain the physical structure of hotel using hand
tools and power tools. What you will do: Maintains hotel by
performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and
other related maintenance activities, using hand tools. Replaces
air conditioner filters. Notifies management concerning the need
for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and
ventilating equipment. May tend furnace, air conditioner, and
boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
Execution of assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed
by the department’s management and ensure completion competently
within a given time. To ensure any work requests that may come from
the hotel guests or senior management are responded to withing a
given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what
action is taken. Required to be always in uniform when working on
the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement,
service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by
the company. All other duties as assigned by a manager or
supervisor. Skills and abilities you bring: Understand and use
specifications. Use hands, arms, and fingers. Work to precise
measurements. Visualize how finished product will look or how
system will operate. Use arithmetic to measure, compute number of
materials to use, and to inspect product to be sure it conforms to
requirements. Lift and move materials and products. Climb and
balance self. Work outdoors in all kinds of weather. Work with a

Schedule & Hours: This position is full-time with a rotating
Mon-Sun schedule . Ability to work any scheduled day of the week,
