We are looking for an experienced financial advisor with an existing / transferable book of business. There will be one assigned branch in Goleta with the goal to cultivate partnerships with segment partners (Home Lending, Branch Staff etc.) and to obtain and create qualified referrals; meet periodically with segment partners to review goals, discuss strategies, and solicit feedback. The role of the Financial Advisor is to enhance member relationships through the sale of Investment and Insurance products. Responsibilities: ? Conduct member interview, sale, and servicing appointments daily with no member complaints. ? Sell effectively by establishing relationships with customers, finding their needs and then offering appropriate solutions in a compelling way so the customer sees the value, understands the features and benefits and purchases the solution. ? Perform pro-active prospecting activities to Credit Union members and Prospecting outside the financial institution in order to bring in new member relationships. ? Maintain and document, via Sales Force, regular client annual review meetings to enhance client relationships and to identify additional sales opportunities ie: Insurance, Estate Planning, and Financial Planning ? Provide consistent training to Credit Union personnel. By creating and implementing contest, lobby day, and SEG business development. Provide monthly branch training ? Follow weekly branch rotation schedule as directed. ? Follow credit union policies for compliance with all laws and regulations, specifically, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Security Policies and Confidentiality Policies ? Perform all related job duties and office operations in accordance to established Credit Union and broker dealer policy and procedures. ? Utilize all technology and fact finding profile form as required for compliance review including Branch Net and Sales Force ? Conduct non-deposit Investment and Insurance sales within a defined marketing territory. ? Improve Credit Union profitability through Investment and Insurance sales. ? Provide Financial Education services to all Members. Possess valid NASD and State Insurance licensing certifications (Series 6 or 7, Series 65 or 66 and Life and Health Insurance) Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred: Credentials recommended. Need five or more years of experience in related financial planning/sales field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess a clean credit and U-4 CRD history
