Junior Accountant:
At Bright Event Rentals, finances is an important piece to our company's success. The finance team must stay organized, diligent, and accurate for Bright to make the best business financial decisions. The Junior Accountant will play an important support role in clarifying the financial outlook of Bright and its clients with precise, proactive measures. Some key functions include reviewing, updating, analyzing financial statements and reports while supporting other finance departments including monthly closing, expenses, and conducting billing processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform the month-end close activities including but not limited to posting journal entries, review expense reimbursement and preparing balance sheet account reconciliations.
Perform accounts receivable duties such as issuing invoices, dealing with invoicing related correspondence, answering clients' billing queries, and initiating collections on accounts.
Prepares client commissions.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate finance reporting.
Assist with other accounting projects

Qualifications for Junior Accountant:

1-2 years of Accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
Computer Literate - using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Zoom, and other software and PC operating systems
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational, communication and Excel skills.
Flexible scheduling (must report to Los Angeles office throughout week)
Able to sit at a desk for long periods of time

Compensation: $23-$26 per hour
