Job Description:

nearly 20 manufactured home communities throughout the Midwest and

PositionIn this role, you will report directly to the Chief
Financial Officer. The position handles the financial aspect of
real estate sales and purchases. You will handle real
estate-related accounting, asset management and bookkeeping duties
for Kodiak. This position will require solid communication and
troubleshooting skills and as you solve accounting-related issues
with property managers directly.Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash balances
- Prepare monthly financial statement analysis cash basis with
variance reporting
- Compile monthly financial statement package with required
supporting documentation
- Distribute financials to lenders/owners
- Attend owner meetings, as necessary
- Assist in the annual audit and tax return preparation
- Assist in annual budget preparation
- Other duties as assignedAccounts Receivable
- Work with property managers regarding NSF's
- Record utility/water reimbursements
- Other duties as assignedAccounts Payable
- Process payable invoices: review, code and acquire proper
approvals
- Manage weekly cash flow spreadsheet to determine which payables
are to be paid
- Record electronic payments
- Other duties as assignedQualifications
- 4+ years' experience with accounts payable or general
accounting - Experience in the real estate field is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, preference for Accounting,
Business, or Business Economics
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytic abilities
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
