Job Description:

Westerlay Orchids in seeking a Controller who is responsible for full financial reporting, setting, and tracking budgets, cash flow control, risk management, project financing for the company and related entities.--The Controller will also have the opportunity to contribute to the long-term planning and financing, audits, process improvements and other cross-functional projects.--The Controller will report to the Chief Opererating Officer and be part of the Senior Management team.--The Controller will have 5 direct reports.Responsibilities* Daily accounting and cash management.* Oversee accounts payables, receivables and payroll department.* Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, statement of cash flow) and tax returns (sales, 1099's ect).* Manage and apply for licenses and permits.* Maintain compliance with government agencies* Accounting and property management of related entities of Westerlay Orchids.* Budgeting, forecasting and tax planning.* Act as the point of contact for external auditorsQualifications* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 4 years of accounting experience* Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)* GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred.* 2+ years management level experience.* Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills* Preferred CPA manufacturing/agriculture experience.Westerlay Orchids offers all full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and an optional 401k plan.
